Kfar Vitkin- the first Jewish settlement in the Hefer Valley, was established by immigrants from Poland and Russia who were members of the ‘Vitkin’ and ‘Valley’ associations.
JOSEPH VITKIN (1876-1912)
Vitkin was an educator, one of the earliest members of the worker’s movement and a key figure of the period between the two major waves of immigration, the First Aliyah and Second Aliyah.
